Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to students identified with special education needs.
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy goals tailored to student needs within the caseload.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
• Comply with state licensing regulations and educational standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Alabama is required.
• Experience working with school-aged children in a special education setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a large caseload effectively.
Location:
• Pelham, AL (serving a K-12 school setting, elementary focus K-5)
Duration:
• Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
