Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and behavioral health, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.

Duties
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
• Provide direct support to children in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
• Assist in the development of care plans that address the unique needs of each child.
• Monitor and document progress towards goals, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce strategies and techniques used in therapy sessions.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, promoting positive behaviors and reducing challenging behaviors.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.

Requirements
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special education needs, is preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices, including applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to assist in developing care plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Understanding of patient care standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
