Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Prior experience working with children, preferred.

Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification required

Maintaining RBT certification yearly.

Knowledge of applied behavior analysis and appropriate interventions for students on the Autism

Spectrum or with severe behavioral needs.

Possess excellent communication, organization and time management skills.

Able to collaborate and work alongside other staff members.

A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment

Complies with drug-free workplace rules and corporation policies

Meets all mandated health requirements

Respects and observes the right of confidentiality

Support corporation decisions and direction relative to matters of policy and administrative directives

Description

Job Objective:
Responsible for providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with autism, serious emotional disabilities and other developmental disabilities in the school setting, under the direction of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will collect data on programs and assist with academic, developmental, and social skills assessments as needed. Responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner setting an example for students, parents and coworkers by reflecting the Noblesville Schools Vision and Mission.
