About the Role:

At Ocean Psychological Services, we are passionate about helping clients thrive through compassionate, high-quality ABA therapy. We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 support and implement individualized treatment plans. In this role, you’ll work closely with a supervising BCBA, make a direct impact on client growth, and be part of a team that values collaboration, professional development, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

 Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on individualized client goals and treatment plans.

 Collect, document, and analyze data during sessions to monitor client progress and guide treatment decisions.

 Attend client team meetings, mandatory quarterly staff meetings, and professional development workshops.

 Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals.

 Facilitate individual and small group social skills training sessions when appropriate.

 Maintain timely communication, including checking and responding to company emails on business days.

 Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or GED (required).

 Experience working with children, help kids learn.

 Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred).

 Prior experience or strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques (preferred).

 Strong data collection, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

 Must be able to provide a minimum of 15 hours of weekly availability between 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (with flexibility to support weekend shifts if needed).

Physical Requirements:

 Ability to sit, stand, walk, and actively engage during therapy sessions.

 Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed to support client activities.

 Sufficient vision and hearing to monitor client safety and engagement.

Compensation and Benefits:

 Hourly Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
