Job Description
r providing mental health services to employees of the Lexington Police Department, in addition to collaboration on, analysis of, and further development of the Lexington Police Department's LexPDFit program.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in professional counseling or social work
Two years of related experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinates wellness resources and provides counseling services for Division employees
Develops critical external partnerships as they relate to mental health and wellness
Provides insight related to wellness initiatives
Participates in training and curriculum development
Provides quarterly reports and an annual analysis of the program
Participates in Peer Support Team debriefings for critical incident after-action wellness
Develops a communication plan to highlight services to employees
Performs related work as assigned
SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
All Certifications and licenses must be maintained as a condition of employment.
Valid Clinical Social Work License (LCSW) from the Kentucky Board of Social Work
or
Valid Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All positions require drug testing and background check before employment and may require a post-job offer physical as stated in Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13 and 23-16
Must not have been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor; due to work with potentially sensitive information, must adhere to applicable confidentiality and privacy standards; and are subject to a polygraph and extensive background check prior to employment and/or after employment.

- •The minimum salary is $65,049.92 annually
- •This position is not eligible for overtime (exempt); however, the city has a compensatory time leave program for employees that grants leave time for hours worked in excess of 40 hours
