Job Description
ASC Therapies is looking for a speech therapist in Huntington, WV. ASC Therapies is a division of Autism Services Center, which has served the Tri-state area for over 40 years. In an energetic and exciting work environment, you will work alongside physical therapists and occupational therapists who share a high commitment to providing quality services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Qualification:
Qualified candidates should possess a master’s degree in speech-language pathology or communicative disorders from an accredited college or university and a valid West Virginia License as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Current CPR certification is also required, but can be completed upon hire.
Job Duties:
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: screening new clients; evaluating and interpreting data; determining relevant treatment plans; developing integrated goals in conjunction with interdisciplinary team members; reevaluating plans of care based on client’s response to treatment; responding to individualized requests and making referrals, as needed; developing in-home therapies and training family members or caregivers, as needed; and assessing and treating swallowing disorders.
