Job Description
rapy & Life Skills Center provides speech therapy and early intervention services rooted in connection, clarity, and real-life impact. We believe communication is most powerful when it works in everyday life — and when caregivers and support systems feel confident and equipped.
What You'll Do
• Conduct screenings and provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Create individualized treatment plans grounded in best practice and meaningful, client-centered goals
• Deliver treatment in individual and group settings — in clinic, at home, and in the community
• Deliver early intervention services using a caregiver coaching model within daily routines
• Implement and program AAC systems and other communication supports
• Coach caregivers, families, and support staff to promote carryover into daily life
• Collaborate with other service providers and a multidisciplinary team
• Have the opportunity to conduct developmental assessments through our baby clinic
• Supervise students, SLPAs, and Clinical Fellows
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation
Who We're Looking For
This role is a strong fit for an SLP who:
• Has solid pediatric experience across a range of profiles and disorders
• Is confident in evaluations and clinical decision-making
• Has experience or strong interest in early intervention, AAC, and caregiver coaching
• Is open to expanding into adult populations as that part of our practice grows
• Thinks beyond the therapy room and focuses on real-world outcomes
• Values collaboration, takes initiative, and is invested in the families they serve
Qualifications
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CF-SLP eligible candidates considered
• Experience with pediatric populations required; EI and/or AAC experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
What Makes This Role Unique
• Full clinical scope — screenings, evals, treatment, groups, AAC, and supervision all in one role
• Opportunity to be part of a growing adult communication program from the ground up
• Developmental assessment experience through our baby clinic
• Supervision of SLPAs, students, and CFs — with caseload relief to match
• Mentorship and leadership support
• A culture built on relationships, growth, and doing good clinical work
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive hourly rate | Total earning potential $130K+ including productivity bonuses
• Health, dental & vision insurance
• SIMPLE IRA with matching
• PTO (sick, vacation & holidays)
• CEU reimbursement
• Balanced schedule
• Mileage reimbursement
• Professional development support
