Job Description
Some jobs pay the bills. This one changes a life.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just show up — someone who shows up with purpose. If you believe that consistency, warmth, and genuine care can transform a child's world, we want to meet you.
At the heart of this role is a bright, energetic 9-year-old with Autism Spectrum Disorder who has an infectious curiosity about the world around him. He loves animals, the outdoors, and people who bring calm energy and big hearts into his space. He doesn't need someone to manage him. He needs someone to believe in him — every single day.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THIS HOUSEHOLD
This isn't a traditional childcare role. You'll be the backbone of a home — keeping it running smoothly, creating an environment where a child can grow, and becoming a trusted, stable presence that the whole household depends on.
You'll take pride in a well-kept home, handle the day-to-day with quiet efficiency, and step into child's world with patience, creativity, and heart. One moment you might be organizing the kitchen — the next, you're cheering him on at the pool or exploring a farm together.
YOUR DAY MIGHT INCLUDE
• Keeping the home clean, organized, and running like clockwork
• Preparing simple meals, managing groceries, and handling errands
• Supporting child's homeschooling and therapy schedule with structure and calm
• Taking him on outdoor adventures — playgrounds, swimming, boating, zoo and farm visits
• Caring for a houseful of beloved pets: a dog, pigeon, parakeets, and a tortoise
• Coordinating with therapists and service providers
• Working alongside a dedicated co-caregiver who shares your commitment
YOU'RE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU ARE
• Genuinely passionate about making a difference in a child's life
• Calm under pressure, patient by nature, and warm in spirit
• Organized, dependable, and proud of a well-managed home
• Experienced working with individuals with disabilities
• Physically active and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ready to commit — this role needs consistency, not a revolving door
• Able to get yourself here reliably (your own transportation required)
• A high school diploma or GED holder
SCHEDULE
• Part-time: 15–20 hours/week
• Full-time: 30–50 hours/week
• Fixed weekday and weekend shifts available
PAY: $19.50 – $21/hour, based on experience
HOW YOU'LL BE HIRED: Through Public Partnerships LLC and AIMS Services. Recruitment is supported by Global Relief and Support Corporation (not the employer of record).
If you've ever wanted a job where what you do truly matters — where you leave each day knowing you made someone's life a little brighter — this is it. Azlan is waiting for the right person. Maybe that's you.
