Job Description

Work as a vital part of a dedicated elementary school team helping students achieve their fullest potential through behavioral support. In this contract opportunity located near Federal Way, WA, you'll provide essential support to students with behavioral and developmental needs. As a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), youll collaborate with educators and related service professionals in delivering evidence-based strategies designed to encourage positive behavior and enhance educational outcomes.

What You'll Do:
• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collect and analyze data on student behaviors and program effectiveness
• Provide 1:1 or small-group instruction focused on behavior and social skills
• Assist teachers and staff in managing challenging behaviors and reinforcing positive actions
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation to support progress monitoring
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, behavioral staff, and school administration

Desired Background:
• Active CBT or RBT certification/licensure required
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Successful WSP and FBI background checks/sexual misconduct clearance
• Valid Washington State Drivers License or evidence of mobility
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but applicants with strong behavioral skills are encouraged to apply

The role is based at a single elementary school, with committed support and guidance from experienced professionals. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 31.5 hours per week. This assignment runs from September 2, 2026, through June 23, 2027.
