laxy ABA Therapy, we help children with developmental disabilities build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors through evidence-based, play-based ABA therapy. Our team is dedicated to kindness, respect, and creating positive experiences for children and families.
We are hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our team! If you are compassionate, motivated, and eager to learn, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do as a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapy)
• Work one‑on‑one with children in home, school, or community settings
• Implement skill‑building and behavior‑reduction plans designed by a BCBA
• Use play‑based, child‑led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging
• Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation
• Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment
What We’re Looking For in a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapy)
• High school diploma (required);
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
• Completion of 40‑hour RBT training (or willingness to complete within the first six months of employment)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
• Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
• Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—but training is provided for the right candidate

Responsibilities
- •Schedule: Monday–Friday (Weekends as needed)
- •Travel: Up to 25% within the Arlington area
- •Work one‑on‑one with children in home, school, or community settings
- •Implement skill‑building and behavior‑reduction plans designed by a BCBA
- •Use play‑based, child‑led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging
- •Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation
- •Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members
- •Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment
