• Position: ABA Behavior Technician/RBT
• Compensation: $20–30/hr (based on experience)
• Type:
Part-Time (15–20 hrs/week)
• Shifts:
Daytime/ Afternoon/ Evening (3-4 hrs/day, vary by client)
Daytime Schedules in Hudson County:
• Union City
: M- F: 8:30AM- 2:30PM
Afternoon Schedules in Hudson County:
• Union City
• Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 3:00–7:30 PM;
Wed 3–6 PM
• Mon 3:30–6 PM;
Tues–Fri 3:30–7:30 PM
• North Bergen
: M- F: 4- 7PM, & Sat 10AM- 1PM
• Jersey City
:
Mon, Tues, Wed, & Fri: 4- 7PM
• West New York
:
Mon, Thurs, Fri: 3:30- 6:30PM & Sat 10AM- 1PM
About Compass ABA:
• As an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT, you’ll deliver individualized ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Help build communication, play, social, and daily living skills.
• Work in homes or community settings across NJ, NY, or NM.
Responsibilities as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT:
• Adventure Guide:
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Behavior Navigator & Skill Scout:
Build skills, manage behaviors, foster independence.
• Team Explorer:
Collaborate with families and staff on treatment plans.
• Compass of Compassion:
Offer encouragement and care during sessions.
• Calm Captain:
Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Progress Compass:
Collect and record data to guide treatment.
• Learning Navigator:
Participate in supervision and growth as an ABA Behavior Technician/RBT.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma (college preferred).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; pass background & reference checks.
• Meet physical requirements: active movement, standing, and play-based activities.
• Experience with children/autism preferred.
• Reliable transportation, strong communication, and technology comfort.
