Job Description

What You’ll Do
• Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services as outlined in the individualized treatment plan.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and coping skills using high-quality, trauma-informed, and assent-based practices.
• Implement behavior-support strategies safely and consistently.
• Collect accurate session data and complete electronic documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with caregivers, school teams, and your supervising BCBA.
• Participate in required IBHS supervision, training, and ongoing professional development.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with IBHS regulations and agency policies.
Required Qualifications (IBHS-Compliant)
Candidates must meet one of the following (per PA IBHS regulations):
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred); or
• BCaBA ; or
• High school diploma and completion of a 40-hour RBT Task List training; or
• At least 2 years of ABA experience and 40 hours of ABA training.
Additional Requirements:
• High school diploma or higher.
• Reliable transportation for travel between service locations—willingness to travel up to 45 minutes.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with children and families.
Required Clearances (Pennsylvania Law)
Must be completed before starting direct service:
• PA Child Abuse Clearance
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• FBI Fingerprinting
• Mandated Reporter Training
• CPR/First Aid (or completed shortly after hire)
• Annual Physical
• TB Test every two years
• Any school district or program-specific requirements as applicable
