Job Description
DC. This in-person position follows a traditional school-day schedule and focuses exclusively on speech-language services in a charter school setting.
This role is available for immediate start due to expanding student needs and is anticipated to continue into the 2026–2027 school year based on school partnership needs.
Position Details
• In-person, school-based role in Washington, DC
• Monday through Friday, school-day hours
• No evenings or weekends
• School-year position with anticipated renewal for the next academic year
• Limited CSY (extended school year) hours may be available in summer based on student need, but are not guaranteed
Responsibilities
• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and complete reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Maintain school-based documentation and progress notes
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Qualifications
• Active Washington, DC Speech-Language Pathology license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills
