Job Description

We’re looking for a kind, dependable, and energetic person to support a sweet, positive 22-year-old young man with autism in his structured day programs. This is a relationship-based, long-term part-time role, not temporary and not a path to full-time work.

Schedule (approx. 25 hrs/week):
• Tues / Thurs / Fri: 9:00–3:00 (flexibility on end time for working parents)
• Mon / Wed: 9:30–12:30

Pay: $25+/hour (W-2)

He attends programs at TERI Campus of Life and Palomar College in the Carlsbad / San Marcos area. Your role is to be a supportive presence and partner, helping encourage communication, social interaction, and participation in activities—not hands-on medical care.

Responsibilities
• Provide calm, positive support during day programs
• Support functional communication and social engagement
• Encourage development of life skills
• Help with transitions and daily routines
• Drive to and between programs as needed

Qualifications
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check
• No experience required—training provided
• Experience with autism or disabilities is a plus
