Schedule: This position guarantees 25 hours per week, structured as follows:
Weekday Hours (17 hours per week):The weekday schedule will be set collaboratively between the family and caregiver and will generally fall between 2:00 pm–8:00 pm.
Alternating Weekend Evenings (8 hours per week): Weekend A: Friday, 4:00 pm–12:00 am Weekend B: Saturday, 4:00 pm–12:00 am

Thrive Nannies is looking for someone to work with a family that has a high functioning male teenager. The family is seeking someone who is patient, flexible, can adapt quickly to family/teen needs as well as engage appropriately with the teen while encouraging his independent skill growth.
The teenager enjoys gaming on his Xbox and PC, playing with his neighborhood friends, and outdoor activities. The role includes a mix of afterschool transportation and supervision and support of the teen during homework, afterschool chores recreation, as well as some light housekeeping, meal prep, pet care, and family errands.
The ideal candidate would be someone who is engaging and able to build a good rapport with the teenager as well as the parents. The ideal candidate would be able to set strong boundaries while helping him develop independent skills. The ideal candidate would have strong communication skills, work well with the family, be punctual, responsible, quick learner and the ability to follow precise directives regarding their sons care as well as pet care.
The family has 4 pugs and caring for the dogs would be required. Feeding, giving them each individual time, walking around the neighborhood, letting them in and out of the house for potty breaks as well as supervision.
General Duties of the Nanny/Attendant Include:
• Providing a safe and healthy environment for the teenager
• Engaging in meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities and outings
• Transportation of teenager to and from activities/school/job
• Overseeing and assisting in medication
• Supervision and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Homework & Chores support
• Pet care (walking, feeding, cleaning bedding)
• Family Errands
• Housekeeping (light kitchen tidying, vacuuming, and the child’s bedroom, bathroom, toilet)
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of caregiving, teaching, or therapy experience
• Current CPR/First Aid
• Experience working with individuals with autism (RBT or similar training preferred)
• Reliable Vehicle, Clean Driving Record, Active Auto Insurance and DL
