Duties
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst.
• Conduct patient assessments to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Provide direct patient care, facilitating therapeutic activities that promote skill development.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide education and support regarding behavioral strategies.
• Participate in diagnostic evaluations as part of a comprehensive assessment process.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
Skills
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles.
• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with other behavioral health issues.
• Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Strong patient assessment skills to evaluate individual needs effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards individuals' challenges.
