Job Description
he Role
You'll work directly with children and young adults with autism or other developmental challenges, providing ABA therapy and implementing individualized treatment plans. Your work will be guided by BCBAs and Licensed Behavior Specialists, and you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality behavioral health support that helps clients manage behavior and acquire new skills.
Your day-to-day work includes providing ABA therapy in home and community settings, following specific protocols established for each client, and implementing the individualized ABA programs outlined in their treatment plan. You'll document all client sessions carefully—recording data, writing quality session notes, and managing timesheets accurately. Building strong relationships with clients and their families is essential; you'll work closely with caregivers to ensure clients are making progress toward their goals.
You'll also communicate regularly with supervisors about case updates, schedule changes, and your availability. Attending required supervision meetings, individual supervisory sessions, and ongoing trainings is a key part of the position. Professional conduct and maintaining client confidentiality are non-negotiable, and you'll ensure timely communication with families throughout your work.
## What We're Looking For
This position requires a high school diploma and you must be at least 18 years old. You'll need a current driver's license in your state of residence with an acceptable driving record, since you'll be traveling to client homes and community locations. A valid background screening and clearance is required.
Physically, you should be able to lift children up to 30 lbs, and the role involves frequent sitting, reaching, standing, kneeling, and running. Strong attention to detail is essential—you're managing clinical documentation and therapy protocols. You'll need excellent oral and written communication skills, and you should be well-organized, flexible, and open to receiving feedback.
One year of experience working with children is strongly preferred, though we welcome entry-level candidates with the right qualities and commitment to this field.
