Our team of diverse counselors and social workers specializes in treating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life-event changes. We expect clinicians possess strong communication skills, experience managing mental health crises, and knowledge/experience providing complex medical and mental health services.

Employment Status: 1099 Independent Contractor

Work Location: Naperville, IL (Hybrid: Remote and Onsite)

Expected hours: up to 30 hours per week

Pay: $60k-76k/year

Responsibilities:
• Provide evidence informed counseling/talk therapy for clients with mild to moderate mental health conditions and/or substance abuse
• Diagnose, treat, and help patients create coping strategies, as well as, counsel, listen, support, and monitor patients for progress
• Formulate short-term and long-term counseling plans for clients under your care and consult with our Clinical Director and other providers regarding complex clients and regarding prescription medications prescribed by providers
• Identify clients with urgent mental health conditions (e.g., suicidal, homicidal, psychotic, etc.) and make referrals to emergency or psychiatric treatment facilities
• Provide written document of counseling sessions, assessments, interventions, and recommendations to meet requirements for medical records documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using provided EMR software.
• Utilize billing services to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance panels
• Work closely with the front desk team to schedule appointments and manage client communication.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and your supervisor
• Arrive on time & be prepared for therapy sessions

Qualifications:
• Doctorate or Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Worker
• Current Illinois Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist, or LCSW, or Marriage and Family Therapy License
• Must be able to meet and maintain current NBCC and State licensure requirements
• 2-4 years of experience in outpatient mental health counseling, preferably private practice and with supervisory experience
• Thorough recordkeeping ability
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record System
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Dedication to maintaining the highest ethical standards in client care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills

Salary Description
$60k-$76k/yr
