• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide direct support to clients, focusing on behavior management and skill acquisition.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them about behavior management strategies.
• Monitor client progress and report observations to the supervising BCBA.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral therapy.
Requirements
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and special education practices.
• Familiarity with care plans and medical documentation processes.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to educate clients and families on behavior management strategies.
• A compassionate approach to working with individuals facing challenges related to their developmental disabilities.
