Job Description

ESCRIPTION:

● Participate in training activities as needed that provide instruction on Applied
Behavior Analysis, discrete trial teaching techniques, management of challenging
behaviors, child development and data collection techniques applicable to the
client population. In addition to recording and reporting on the behavior of
individual children as assigned
● Assist with training new and existing behavior technicians
● Monthly graphing and progress reports for CMH
● Conduct VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, ALFS or other curriculum assessments for new
and existing clients
● Schedule and lead case open meetings with the assistance of the Director of
Client Services
● Keep parents updated on when technicians transition off your client’s case

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
● Provide supervision of behavior technicians working with clients (minimum 20%)
● Provide parent/family engagement sessions as prescribed in the treatment plan
● Implement 1:1 behavioral intervention programs to children

SERVICES:

● Attend weekly team meetings with fellow supervising clinicians and administrative
staff to discuss the current caseload as well as upcoming items
● Attend weekly clinical staff meetings to go over cases
● Create and maintain a professional relationship with the client’s Supports Coordinator
and update them on the client’s current progress
● Teach behavior technicians how to properly interact with their clients

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) requires the individual to have a minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field and hold an active status as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

The employee must have:
● Good organization and time management skills
● The ability to follow through on given directions in a timely manner
● Patience
● The ability to interact well with children
● The ability to work cooperatively as a therapy team member
● The ability to work well independently
● Passed all behavior technician competencies
● Good written and verbal communication skills
