Job Description
crisis intervention, and crisis stabilization. This position plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families across our community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide direct mental health services, including intake assessments, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, and crisis interventions at approved service locations.
• Monitor assigned caseload daily using the MHP Caseload Compliance Report in Credible and complete all required documentation accordingly.
• Complete treatment plans every 180 days.
• Complete all documentation required by Managed Care and/or private insurance to support service authorization and reimbursement.
• Complete daily progress notes and Safety/Incident Reports on or before the end of the next calendar day in accordance with Policy 4-4, Contemporaneous Documentation.
• Furnish required reports to DCFS, the legal system, and other involved agencies as needed.
• Comply with HIPAA guidelines and follow all agency privacy practices.
• Attend monthly clinic meetings and required staffings with medical staff, maintaining a 90% compliance rate.
• Provide supervision and observation for QBHP staff as outlined by company policy.
• Provide court testimony when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Licensure Requirements
Must maintain current licensure in the State of Arkansas as one of the following:
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT)
Education Requirements
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or counseling.
• Must be licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Arkansas.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
• Ability to provide ethical, effective mental health services to clients, families, professionals, and staff.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Preferred:
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
