erview:
The Bilingual LMFT at AMC has the following primary roles: Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral, within the context of marriage and family systems. Apply psychotherapeutic and family systems theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals, couples, and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed nervous and mental disorders.
Some EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities Include:
• Utilize solution-focused therapy strategies to provide mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children;
• Perform intake and needs assessments for individuals, significant others, and family members through testing, interviews, observations, and conversation sessions;
• Participate in the development, implementation, and assessment of therapeutic treatment programs for each patient;
• Document patient records accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and licensing standards;
• Participate in weekly clinical team meetings and engage with community organizations.
SupervisoryResponsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or behavioral science;
• Bilingual in Spanish;
• Certification in one or more treatment modalities;
• Passion for serving AMC's mission and patient populations;
• 1+ years of Clinical experience (three years of post-licensure experience preferred).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
CA MFT License required.
Salary Description
$91,500- $100,000/ year DOE
