Job Description
l:
Provide direct care, support, and supervision for individuals with autism in our Day Program setting. This is a hands-on role requiring the staff member in this position to assist our individuals with a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to personal care, medication management, behavior management, life skills, documentation, transportation, and providing daily structure and support, to name a few.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8am-4pm

The individuals we serve rely on you! We are looking for caring, compassionate, dedicated, and reliable staff members who are willing to learn and grow with us and provide the highest level of care and support for our residents and participants. You must have and use sound judgment and tact and effectively communicate with individuals with autism. Flexible in person interviews are scheduled during the week, in our administrative office located in Morganville. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team of professionals, working together on promoting and advocating for individuals with autism.
Agency Training:
Extensive and intense hands-on training is provided, so every team member can provide the best care to our individuals.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED/Higher Degree (must provide diploma or transcripts)
Must be at least 20 years old.
A valid NJ driver's license
You must pass all background checks, including Central Registry, CARI, DMV, Fingerprints, Drug Screen, Physical, and PPD.
Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with persons with autism, solve problems systematically, and communicate (written and verbal), and professionally.
