• Performing clerical and patient care duties as delegated by a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, and physician
• Scheduling appointments, tests and procedures
• Answering phones and assisting with patient questions
• Preparing patient for appointment
• Administration of medications and treatment
• Maintaining an efficient and effective workflow for providers
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a medical assistant program
• Certification as a medical assistant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Must have a caring and positive attitude
