Job Description
ge Pathologist will support students in the areas of daily living, educational and vocational skills. The SLP will work with the students both individually and in group sessions to address communication needs within the classroom and throughout their educational program.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• PDE certification
• Experience working within an autistic support program preferred
Core Job Duties & Responsibilities (in priority order):
• Provide speech therapy to caseload of approximately 20 students as designated by their IEPs
• Deliver scheduled speech therapy sessions for all students in compliance with IEP requirements. Maintain ongoing therapy notes for each student's session
• Implement IEP goals for students and collect data on the designated IEP goals
• Communicate regularly/as needed with collaborative teams, parents and school districts as applicable
• Communicate with administration as needed regarding issues/concerns impacting the speech therapy department
• Maintain student confidentiality in compliance with The Family Rights and Privacy Act
• Complete additional duties as designed and attend all required staff & parent meetings
