Job Description

red in Parma, Ohio / Seven Hills area. Please do not apply if you cannot work in person at least one day per week.

We are looking for a part-time therapist for a 1099/contractor position- set your own schedule.

The therapist will support the patient's well-being by providing mental health assessments and treatments; providing resources; educating families; and maintaining patient records.** Must be comfortable working with children—a clean background check required.

Duties:
• Assesses patient mental status and problems by interviewing patients; obtaining personal information and medical history; consulting with other professionals.
• Designs and implements treatment programs by evaluating patient's willingness to change; setting treatment objectives; tailoring approach to patient's needs; consulting with other professionals; providing brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention and/or personal counseling utilizing individual, conjoint and group treatment modalities.
• Maintains patient records by following protocols; entering and updating data; maintaining case history and progress notes.
• Protects mental health center's value by keeping patient information confidential; adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Must have an active Ohio license to practice/associate or fully licensed (LPC, LPCC, LISW, LSW, LMFT, etc)
