Job Description

l, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. The behavior therapist is ultimately responsible for direct delivery of the behavioral services to the children and families, as well as accurate data collection and record keeping of case notes. Excellent communication with supervising BCaBA or BCBA about the program and the progress of the behavior service plans is a necessity. The RBT maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Director of Operations, hours are determined by client availability and subject to change.
Applicant Requirements
• Education: Required-High School Diploma or GED, Preferred-At least 2 years of college
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Medicaid Provider Number: type 39 preferred but not require
• Possession of a valid Driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Liability Insurance (required)

• Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Essential Functions
• Provide 1:1 direct therapy in center environment
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, NET, PECS, and other ABA strategies.
• Target programs in the catalyst software daily, complete session notes, and track behavior data.
• Work with BCBA/BCaBA and implement individualized goals in baseline and skill acquisition. Implement individualized treatment plan as written and directed by BCaBA OR BCBA.
• Maintain respect confidentiality for all clients.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state of- the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Maintain and protect the wellbeing of all clients.
• Avoids legal challenges by keeping client information confidential, and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• adheres to the BACB Ethical Code

• Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of Blossom ABA Co.
• Actively communicates with BCBA assigned to client.

Responsibilities

  • Status: Part-Time or Full-time employment (25-40 hrs a week)
  • Responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development
