Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Clinician (LCSW or higher) to join our multidisciplinary team at our new Adolescent Day Clinic. Ideal candidates are collaborative, adaptable, and confident in fast-paced settings, with a passion for leading therapeutic groups and working with adolescents in moderate-acuity care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Case Management & Intake: Conduct intake screenings, develop and adjust treatment plans, support discharge planning, and facilitate collateral communication.
• Therapeutic Group Leadership: Lead group therapy sessions (up to 12 adolescents) using iLearn’s specialized curriculum, which includes DBT, CBT, ACT, social skills, psychoeducation, and mindfulness modules.
• Treatment Collaboration: Work closely with other clinicians, including nurses, to perform biopsychosocial assessments and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Patient Support & Safety: Participate in daily safety and coping strategies, checking in with adolescents requiring additional support, and engaging families in our welcoming lobby/milieu.
• Documentation: Complete clinical notes and documentation promptly and accurately to ensure quality patient care.
• Resource Development: Maintain knowledge of referral resources in the community and identify group topics and psychosocial interventions aligned with patient needs.
• Collaborative Care: Coordinate care with psychiatrists, social workers, technicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient support.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and accrediting body requirements.
• Professional Growth: Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and development within the clinic.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: $65,000-$75,000 per year
• Employment Type: Full-time (on-site), with comprehensive benefits
• Work Environment: Day shifts, with a structured, supportive team environment focused on high-quality adolescent care
Qualifications
• Licensure: Licensed as an LCSW in Massachusetts
• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a mental health setting; experience with adolescent populations is highly preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of higher levels of care and intake assessments, with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
