Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Position Overview :
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Aviation ABA, you’ll provide in-home ABA therapy to children in Salt Lake County and nearby areas. You’ll work 1:1 with clients to build communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA strategies.
Your role is hands-on, impactful, and deeply rewarding.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:
• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy as directed by your supervising BCBA
• Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching methods
• Collect and record data electronically after each session
• Maintain regular communication with your BCBA and clinical team
• Participate in parent training sessions and generalization activities as needed
• Assist with assessments, materials preparation, and therapy session organization
• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and safety protocols
• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
• Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested
Requirements
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (or willingness to become certified with our support)
• Reliable transportation within Salt Lake County and surrounding areas
• Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable using tablets/iPads for electronic data collection
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children
• Eligible to work in the U.S., with valid driver’s license and insurance
