Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, intake evaluations, and treatment planning.
• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy, using evidence-based modalities.
• Deliver crisis intervention, stabilization, and safety planning as needed.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other providers to ensure integrated treatment.
• Engage clients in recovery-focused, person-centered services aligned with OMH guidelines.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
• Provide psychoeducation regarding mental health, coping skills, and community resources.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with OMH, Medicaid, and agency standards.

Qualifications:
• LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC in New York State (active license in good standing).
• Experience in outpatient mental health, clinic, or community-based settings preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to engage diverse populations with cultural humility and sensitivity.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, Yiddish, or Mandarin preferred.
• Outpatient mental health clinic or OMH-licensed program.
• Hybrid (in-person/telehealth) schedules may be available depending on agency policy.
• Collaborative team setting with opportunities for supervision, training, and career advancement.

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Suffern, NY 10901

Responsibilities
