Job Description
in our team. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help clients develop essential life skills and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA to address skill deficits and behavior excesses in clients.
• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities in various settings, such as homes, schools, or community-based environments.
• Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, speech therapists, and parents, to create and maintain a cohesive treatment approach.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) as needed to inform the development of effective intervention strategies.
• Provide one-on-one, in-home ABA therapy to children with autism and related disorders.
• Implement behavior intervention plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to help clients develop essential life and social skills.
• Collect and record data on client progress to support individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with families and BCBAs to ensure effective therapy and goal achievement.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training program.
• Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• COMPETITIVE PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE
• MUST BE RBT CERTIFIED
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow and implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
