Position Overview

The Associate Therapist will provide counseling services to individuals seeking support with emotional wellbeing, relationships, life transitions, and personal growth. Many clients desire care that acknowledges their Christian faith while also receiving professional therapeutic support.

Clinicians in this role may work with:
• Adolescents and teens
• Young adults
• Adults
• Couples or families (depending on training and comfort level)

Client assignments will be matched based on the clinician’s experience, interests, and areas of competency.

Core Responsibilities
• Provide counseling services through both in-person sessions and secure telehealth platforms
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate to the client’s needs
• Integrate Biblically-sensitive or Christian-informed perspectives (5 Fold Ministry) when appropriate and requested by clients
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards
• Participate in supervision as required for associate-level clinicians
• Refer clients to higher levels of care or specialized services when appropriate

License Requirements

Applicants must hold an active associate-level mental health license, including:
• LMFT-A (Associate Marriage and Family Therapist)
• LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)
• LPCA (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate)
• or the like

Applicants must be eligible to practice under clinical supervision according to state requirements.

Preferred Experience

While not required, strong candidates may have experience with:
• Trauma-informed counseling
• Relationship or family therapy
• Adolescents or young adults
• Faith-integrated counseling
• Telehealth service delivery
