Behavior Technician (RBT) (VIP of reinforcement, connection, and fun)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- FUN!

- Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude focused on the success of clients and dedication to the culture of TALK

- Direct implementation of a behavior-analytic treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Speech Language Pathologist Data collection to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan

- Complete other essential components (e.g. session notes) as trained and advised by the supervising BCBA, to allow for documentation and billing for services Participation in staff development, education, and training programs as directed Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds.

- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members

- Communication with caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by a BCBA

- Adhere to organizational policies and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Maintain a physical environment conducive to learning

- Maintain a Registered Behavior Technician certification

- Maintain CPR/first aid certification

- Other tasks as deemed appropriate and necessary by the immediate supervisor and/or the administrative team.

Qualifications:

- 18 years of age or older

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred

- DOJ background clearance and TB clearance

- Proof of driver's license

- Written documentation from an authorized medical professional for all TALK ABA, Inc. required Immunizations

- Completion of all TALK specific onboarding processes and documentation Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (e.g. squatting, crawling, sitting—-iods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
