Speech Language Pathologist - Center-Based
Latham, NY

The Role
This is a center-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role serving children with an average age range of 2-7 years, focused on early intervention, social development, and school readiness. You'll work in a collaborative clinical environment that primarily focuses on:
• Center-based services
• Early learners (ages 2 - 7)
• Strong clinical, administrative, and leadership support
What You'll Be Doing
• Conduct speech therapy services with clients aged 2-7 y/o
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ goals and needs
• Help clients improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Maintain timely and accurate client records and reports
• Collaborate with other healthcare and behavioral professionals to coordinate client care
• Educate families on strategies for managing conditions and maximizing independence

Qualifications
• New York State Speech and Language Pathology License
• Experience working with children
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Fluent in English; additional opportunities for candidates with other language fluency
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day, as well as bend, kneel, or squat to remain at eye level with clients.
• Capable of prolonged periods of standing and sitting throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
• Capable of managing unpredictable and frequent aggressive and/or physically demanding behaviors and executing emergency intervention protocols in accordance with clinical training.
