Job Description
The Abacus Team is a BCBA-owned ABA company seeking a bilingual English/Spanish and fluent in English Behavior Therapists / RBTs to join our growing clinical team and work under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Cases are located in:
• Califon - English Fluent
• Hamilton - English OK
• Trenton: English OK
• Raritan - English OK
• West New York - English OK
• North Brunswick: Bilingual
• Plainfield: Bilingual

The BT is responsible for implementing treatment plans, collecting data on client progress, and assisting in the development of socially significant skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
Required Qualifications
• Experience with working with children
• Availability Monday thru Friday during afternoon hours
Key Responsibilities
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide 1:1 direct therapy in home, school, clinic, or community settings.
• Collect accurate and detailed data on client behavior and skill acquisition during sessions.
• Assist with functional behavior assessments as directed by the BCBA.
• Follow treatment protocols and behavior intervention plans consistently.
• Use reinforcement, prompting, and other evidence-based ABA strategies appropriately.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, play, daily living, and academic skills.
• Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings, supervision, and training sessions.
• Maintain professional boundaries and comply with HIPAA and client confidentiality standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability in all duties.
