Job Description
he field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
As the Lead RBT Trainer at Key Autism Services, you'll deliver hands-on training and coaching based on ABA principles, support our training program, and continue to work directly with your own clients. You'll play a critical role in shaping confident, competent, and compassionate RBTs-while growing your own clinical and leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the RBT Training Coordinator and Training Director to ensure new RBTs receive comprehensive, high-quality instruction
Lead in-person training sessions, including overlap/modeling and final competency evaluations
Deliver clear, constructive feedback to trainees and help guide them through our established training curriculum
Identify and recommend additional training when needed to help RBTs succeed
Continue providing direct ABA therapy to your assigned clients while supporting new staff
Collect and maintain accurate behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
Work closely with families, BCBAs, and other providers to support holistic client care
Ensure sessions are documented and signed within 1 business day and all communications are HIPAA-compliant
RBT Requirements
Certified RBT with at least one year of ABA field experience
Recommended by your supervising BCBA(s)
A natural mentor with a passion for teaching and supporting others
A reliable, motivated, and upbeat professional who thrives in a collaborative setting
Skilled in written and verbal communication, with a keen eye for detail and a heart for service
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education is a plus!)
Reliable transportation to and from sessions
Ability to implement treatment plans as outlined by a BCBA
Comfortable with physical activity (may include sitting on the floor, kneeling, standing, or lifting up to 50 lbs.)
Current RBT certification
Minimum of 1 year of field experience as an RBT
At least 3 months of employment with Key Autism Services, with consistently strong performance reviews and high treatment integrity scores
Recommendation from the BCBA(s) on current cases
