Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Behavior Coach to join our team. The Behavior Coach will support children during open play, structured classes, and private sessions, promoting positive behavior, social interaction, and emotional regulation. This role is ideal for individuals with experience or interest in working with neurodiverse children, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to children during play, classes, and events
• Model and reinforce positive behavior strategies in alignment with therapeutic goals
• Monitor child safety and ensure equipment is used properly
• Support transitions, manage behavioral challenges calmly, and encourage peer interactions
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and therapists
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging play environment
• Assist with special events, birthday parties, and classes as needed
• Complete documentation and session notes when applicable
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience working with children with special needs (preferred)
• Background in ABA, education, psychology, social work, or related field (a plus)
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to be active and on your feet for extended periods
• Must pass a background check
