Job Description
Make a difference as a Registered Behavior Technician working one-on-one with a 1st grade student in a supportive elementary education setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in managing intense behaviors and executing targeted intervention plans in collaboration with a BCBA.
Location: Woodland, CA
Discipline: RBT
Assignment Dates: ASAP – 6/5/26
Hours: 35 per week
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized behavioral support to a 1st grade male student in a general education classroom
• Work closely with a BCBA to implement and refine comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Collaborate with a dedicated paraprofessional for optimal student support
• Address and redirect attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors utilizing evidence-based strategies
• Accurately document progress, daily notes, and data related to behavior interventions
• Communicate proactively with the educational team and student’s support network
Preferred Qualifications:
• Active RBT certification
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students, particularly those with challenging behaviors
• Strong foundation in ABA principles and techniques
• Exceptional communication, observation, and crisis intervention skills
• Capacity to work collaboratively with behavior specialists, paraprofessionals, and educators
• Adaptability and patience in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting
