Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as an Autism Specialist supporting students in a vibrant, supportive educational setting near Roseville, CA. This full-time, onsite contract position focuses on the pediatric population, working with a diverse student group to address a wide range of mental health, sensory, executive functioning, and socialization needs related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school community is seeking someone who is passionate about empowering students, adept at navigating complex behavioral and neurological challenges, and eager to work collaboratively with other professionals. Open to both local and travel professionals ready to bring their expertise and compassion.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in a related field is required
• LMFT preferred
• At least 3 years of experience working with individuals with ASD, including adults without intellectual disabilities
• Demonstrated understanding of the behavioral, sensory, emotional, and social nuances of ASD
• Previous experience supporting mental health, executive functioning, and social integration for individuals on the spectrum
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families

Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students with ASD
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote best practices
• Implement evidence-based strategies tailored to support executive functioning, sensory integration, and social skills
• Provide direct intervention and crisis support as needed
• Offer professional guidance and training for staff on ASD-related topics
