We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school-based opportunity in Long Beach, California. This role involves providing behavioral support to students in educational settings while implementing evidence-based ABA strategies to promote academic, social, and behavioral success.

Position Details:

Location: Long Beach, CA
Schedule: 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $31/hour
Setting: Onsite only

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct behavioral support to students in classroom and 1:1 settings
Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Support students with behavioral, social, and academic goals
Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data and progress records
Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and other support staff
Promote a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
Assist students with transitions, routines, and classroom participation

Qualifications:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Experience working with children or students with behavioral needs preferred
Knowledge of ABA principles and behavior management strategies
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in both 1:1 and classroom settings
