Responsibilities
• Provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling sessions addressing a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, grief, and addiction.
• Conduct comprehensive substance abuse assessments and court evaluations in accordance with Florida state requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Offer parenting support and address school-related issues affecting children and families.
• Collaborate with clients to manage work, career, and stress-related concerns through therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in professional development activities and stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Requirements
• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Current and valid Mental Health Counselor license in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent).
• Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
• Knowledge and experience in substance abuse treatment, including conducting assessments and court evaluations.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities addressing depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, and stress management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills with a client-centered approach.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional boundaries in a private practice setting.

Qualifications
