We are seeking a motivated Practicum Student eager to gain hands-on experience working with children and teens. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with our team to develop professional skills and contribute to real-world initiatives. Ideal candidates are proactive, quick learners, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service and going above and beyond clients' needs.
Students will gain practical work experience and receive a broad range of experiences including:
• Practice clinical skills by working with clients in the community in offices.
• Work collaboratively with other therapists and your clinical supervisor to create treatment plans with clients.
• Learn and utilize the clinical documentation process, including progress notes, consultation notes, treatment plans, and diagnostic assessments.
• Conduct assessments.
• Understand compliance with billing and clinical documentation policies.
• Benefit from individual and group supervision.
• Attend ECG case consultation meetings.
• Enjoy opportunities for internal educational seminars.
• Participate in outreach activities.
Successful candidates will:
• Be passionate about providing excellent client care and using their clinical skills.
• Be open and accepting of constructive feedback.
• Have the desire to learn and grow.
• Willingness to go above and beyond to assist clients needs
• Strengthen their knowledge in the mental health field
• Want to be part of an amazing team long-term.
