Job Description

Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or psychology required.
Experience: Two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, preferred, with direct experience in family and group therapies and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and HWC training within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in a seclusion/restraint procedure.

- •The Program Therapist assists residents in meeting their psychosocial needs through various treatment modalities such as : group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, case management, education, etc
- •The program therapist coordinates treatment services and works with the multidisciplinary treatment team to drive the direction of the individual resident’s treatment goals and interventions
