Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in the Cocoa area providing in-home services in the evening and one day of the weekend. As an RBT, you will work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing one-on-one therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work extensively with the owner/lead BCBA, gaining invaluable experience and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teaching strategies.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Assist with developing and modifying behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and progress in therapy.
• Maintain a positive and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.
Qualifications:
• RBT Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certification or the ability to complete CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
