Job Description
ties include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral challenges and developing tailored Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that support positive student outcomes.
The BCBA will provide ongoing consultation and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams to ensure effective implementation of interventions.
Monitoring student progress through data collection and analysis, thorough documentation, and collaboration with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams are integral parts of the role.
Participation in meetings to address student needs and coordinate services is expected.
Qualifications and experience desired:
• Active BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
• Strong skills in assessing behavior and designing intervention plans based on data
This position is based in Knightdale, NC, with a full-time schedule averaging 37.5 hours per week.
