The role

We are looking for dog-loving, reliable and trustworthy people to provide overnight cover alongside another Overnight Dog Sitter,
three nights per week
. You’ll help ensure the comfort, safety and well-being of our Assistance Dogs in Training overnight.

Our setting is a farmhouse with surrounding paddocks, and we place dog welfare at the centre of everything we do. You will receive full training, including canine first aid, and a careful introduction so you can build trust and bonds with the dogs before completing overnight shifts.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure the dogs are settled, comfortable, safe and secure overnight
• Spot clean living areas as needed
• Monitor and manage noise (settling dogs as appropriate)
• Observe for any concerns and report issues promptly, following our procedures
• Maintain a calm, responsible presence that supports dog welfare and good routines
Requirements
• Experience working within the animal care industry
• Live within a reasonable travelling distance of Congleton
• Knowledge of canine first aid
• An animal-related qualification

Benefits

  • Pay: £65–£80 per night (depending on availability and experience)
