In this position of Clinical Leader, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with our youth, focusing on group therapy in a trauma-informed, therapeutic setting. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a small team to provide care to no more than 12 clients at a time, as well as provide clinical support to your peers. TAP staff work closely with the youths’ families, schools, and community agency providers to support each client’s success as part of a comprehensive treatment team.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
JRI Provides The Training So That
• YOU will be responsible for the clinical care of youth while in our afterschool program, as well as coordination and support related to clinical care and needs outside of each site.
• YOU will provide clinical support to your peers from our other TAP programs through monthly group supervision, documentation approvals, and case consultations.
• YOU will provide supervision to clinical interns as needed.
• YOU will support youth in developing the social and adaptive skills they need to be their best selves within the structure of our program, their home, and communities by utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge to explore creative methods to support the unique needs of each child served.
• YOU will model and lead our staff in providing evidence-based clinical practice.
• YOU will use creative and fun modalities to meet the individual needs of our youth.
• YOU will help design weekly curriculum for our group therapy sessions.

Requirements
• Candidates must have a Clinical Independent License (LICSW, LMHC).
• Candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Candidates must be knowledgeable in growth and development; able to obtain and interpret information in terms of the needs of emotionally disturbed, mentally ill youth and their families; and understand of the range of interventions and treatments required by this population.
• Candidates who have experience working with latency age children or experience in behavior modification are preferred.
• Candidates must be available to work afternoons into evening (latest 6pm) which provides flexibility in the mornings and weekends for you!
• This is not a remote position, staff are on site daily at our afterschool program, home program in Norton.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license, as transporting youth is required.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our youth.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
