POSITION OVERVIEW

Dragonfly Cares is seeking compassionate and reliable part-time Behavior Technicians(BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians(RBT) to provide after school in-home services to children on the autism spectrum. Technicians will support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, energetic, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy, in client homes, to children following individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA
• Collect and record behavioral data to track progress and guide treatment decisions
• Build strong, positive relationships with clients and families
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation that meets clinical and insurance standards
• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen your clinical skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree is psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental delays
• Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
• Reliable transportation to client homes across Nassau and Suffolk counties
