Job Description

Therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults impacted by trauma. The role focuses on reducing symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues while improving emotional regulation and family functioning.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions using TF-CBT techniques
• Conduct clinical assessments, intakes, and diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver structured TF-CBT components (psycho education, coping skills, trauma processing)
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (case managers, psychiatrists, schools, etc.)
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed
• Engage caregivers/families in treatment to support long-term outcomes
• Requirements
• Master’s degree in:
• Social Work
• Counseling
• Psychology or related field
• Active or associate license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
• Training or certification (or willingness to obtain) in TF-CBT
• Experience working with:
• Trauma survivors
• Children/adolescents or high-risk populations
• Strong skills in:
• Crisis management
• Documentation
• Cultural competence

Preferred Qualifications
• TF-CBT certification (or actively pursuing)
• Experience with modalities like:
• CBT, DBT, or EMDR
• Background in:
• Foster care / child welfare
• Community mental health
