The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills, empathy, compassion, respect the needs and autonomy of children whom they are working with, and be a team player.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care (1:1) to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor and/or behavior analyst.
• Collect and record data on behavior.
• Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Carry out clinical assessments and other administrative duties.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attend ongoing training to increase ABA knowledge.
Requirements
• College degree or High School Diploma and 2 years of experience working with children
• Must have own reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license, auto registration, and auto insurance
• Available in the early afternoon/ evening (1:00 PM -3:30 PM or 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM)
• Experience working with children
• Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry patients
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• May need to work shifts
• Computer skills
